My latest drawing, the lovely Keys (singer for the Italian band 'In This Pain'). I'm really pleased with this one :-)

A good start

This year has gotten off to a pretty good start. I feel much more creative. Hopefully the weather will cooperate shortly and end this cold snap we're in. I finished my latest drawing and I'm really happy with how it turned out. I've also found a bit of time to do some writing and a little Photoshop work. I've found inspiration from some good artists and look forward to some exciting things in 2010. Music this year has been a disappointment, but it's still early and there are a few albums awaiting release which hold some promise.

I used some carbon and some charcoal on my version of Blake, it's not as forgiving as graphite, I had to be oh so careful in dusting off the extra carbon. I do love the darkness of it and I'm working on a new drawing using carbon (of another member of LC), hopefully I'll have something cool to display in the near future. Honored to have you as the first person to post on my page.
